I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones, earning a living doing a job I love! Each job is different, so I never get bored – new roles to cast, new genres to explore, new directors to bond with. I love being a Casting Director – the creativity involved in suggesting actors for roles, working closely with directors and producers.
The one thing I can always trust is my gut instinct, with years of experience under my belt and a passion for spotting and discovering new talent.
As a self confessed independent movie addict, I am never without my casting cap on!
The ability to interpret a director’s vision, coupled with an in depth understanding of character and the actor’s process help me to approach each casting call on its own merits. This ensures a happy outcome time and time again.
